will it happen? I have that video card and on 5308 I couldn't do TV AT ALL! MCE said "tuner not found" Has anyone got the TV on MCE to work?

MCE TV for ATI Radion 9600 for plublic beta?
Media center is only certified with Hardware mpeg tuner cards and the 9800 all in wonder i don't think was ever certified.
Lots of Hauppage, newer ATI cards work fine. Like the WinTV PVR 150 MCE edition

there is no stopping you from running the ATI tv stuff or using non MCE PVR software, however MCE requires hardware based encoders at this time.

That's not really true. ATI released MCE certified drivers for the AIW cards about a year ago.
I would try ATI's site. I don't think it will work though. The AIW is pretty weak.
